We enjoyed visiting the museum and were very pleased that it was free (except for the special exhibit). His sculptures are quite interesting and there is also a video that explains his process. We were there for nearly an hour and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

My wife and I were in Paris in November. We had another outstanding experience at the Musee Bourdelle. The Musee Bourdelle is one of our favorite Paris museums. Antoine Bourdelle is one of the best sculpture artists and the museum is fantastic.

Antoine Bourdelle was a student of Rodin and a teacher of Giacometti. This small museum gives you a good overview of his career and art work. The sculptures ranges in size from small to gigantic. Entering his studio was like going back in time. There...More

Attractive free museum with very pleasant gardens. You do not have to be a sculpture enthusiast to enjoy this museum. In good weather the gardens, with their statues, are very pleasant to visit and relax in, especially as the museum does not attract a large...More

I'll admit that I did not know Bourdelle before going here, but the quality of the museum itself is spectacular. I was there during the Balenciaga exhibition, which was so well done and surprisingly worked alongside the sculptures. The museum has a bunch of different...More

My Visit was to see the 'Balenciaga en Noir' Exhibition This was an excellent setting, for the Exhibition Combining the Museum Sculptures with Balenciaga's Sculptural Clothing Designs. Worth...More

Located in Montparnasse, the museum was the atelier of Antoine Bourdelle and contains more than 500 works, including Rodin, Delacroix, Ingres. Nice and relaxing garden. It hosts temporary exhibitions, in this period the one dedicated to Balenciaga, just great!

If you're going soon, catch the 'Balenciaga en Noir' exhibit worked into the Bourdelle sculptures - absolutely fantastic! The place itself is so lovely, very much worthwhile visiting this hidden gem! Very few tourists!

My wife, our 6-year old boy, and I all enjoyed an evening visit to this little and little known, but very worthwhile, museum. We went on a cool breezy evening and the gardens were truly enjoyable, with the monumental sculptures which one normally does not...More
