I was thrilled to have front row seats on the balcony for a performance by The Trocks. We were somewhat disappointed by the run-down appearance of the theatre but had a great evening. Staff were helpful but expected substantial tips; there appeared to be only...More

Booked to see the musical "ZORRO" during our stay in Paris in February - the venue is very very tired and in need of some "tlc" and money spending on it to bring it upto acceptable standards if it is still to be used as...More

What a fabulous theater. It is older and does need some repairs but I think it added to the charm. Very small. Seating is a little hard to find but staff was very helpful.

It was my first time at Folies Bergères. The setting is a little tacky flamboyant but in sync with the show I suppose: colorful and fun. The performance itself was entertaining, humorous, endearing even when you know it's JPG's dream come true. Great soundtrack, choreography,...More

Disappointing, repetitive, often just boring. When compared to other cabaret shows this was low tech using just video and simplistic lighting. The soundtrack was from a roadtrip mix tape of tired tracks that are standards heard on tv talent shows. Where was the famed creativity...More

The Jean Paul Gaultier show is spectacular. I wouldn't have thought the Folies would be my bag but it so was. Amazing building and I had a fantastic night. Busy, fun, grand old dame.

Fabulous show well worth seeing. Loved everything about it. The sound track and music, costumes, mixed media were all amazing.

The plot is Jean-Paul Gauthier’s career. I was disappointed because I thought I was seeing something amazing. But I got a strong sense of deja vu all over again. Weirdness acceptable to be seen at Au Bon Marche or at Selfridges department stores, so to...More

John Paul Gaultier has created “Fashion Freak Show” at the Folies Bergère, which, he explains, brings to life a boyhood dream. The show is witty, visually thrilling, sensitive and kind in its message. Costumed as one would expect in a Gaultier creation, the show delivers...More

Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,

modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros
predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
