Monday August 6th. Billed as Bill Evans tribute. But really just insipid tunes Evans never played but in his style...sort of. Bass player trying to play "Danny Boy" obviously doesn't even know the tune. Plus has no power or control. Drummer is more interested in...More

Pleasantly surprised when we stopped here when the jazz club we had planned was full. This is a small jazz club with lots of chairs squeezed around a few tables in a packed room. Obviously, it is all about the music. The room has good...More

We went there on a Friday night for a show of the Sarah Lancman Quartet. The place was crowded and there was not enough space for the legs between the chairs. The music was great, the sound was good, but a little bit more of...More

Went here one evening while in Paris and listened to a trio, (pianist, bassist, percussions), who were excellent. Place was backed with jazz enthusiasts, started late, and sets were short, but still a treat as the group was very good.

Located in the Marais district, this authentic jazz club delivers real jazz for a decent price. The neighborhood is great for exploring after the show. It's the Soho of Paris. So cool. Enjoy!

Friendly staff. Welcoming. Beer is a bit pricey for an average bar setting after a 25 Euro concert ticket, but it's a good place to listen to music. This audience takes their jazz seriously.

The Sunset has one of the best program in town artists-wise. There is no denying it, the best have played there. The 2 rooms are busy every night with 2 concerts at the same time. It's very typical of the jazz clubs in Paris, with...More
