We explored this place while we were on our way to Eiffel Tower from Notre Dam via rickshaw. This is the lower house of the parliament of France located near the banks of Seine River. It is a beautiful structure.

Despite the importance of the occupants of the building, it gets little emphasis with all the other great things to see. With that said, we did see it several times travelling around Plaza Concord.

This is an impressive structure on the banks of the River Seine used by the lower house as its Parliament. The French certainly know how to construct a building that has a large "wow" factor and this is one of them.

The historical value of the building far surpasses its structural value. It is a witness of the great events of the revolution with all its iconic names: Danton, Robespierre, etc. and along with the factions Girondains and Montagnards. Its visit is a must for history...More
