This is the bridge where Javert died in Victor Hugo's Les Miserables. Seems like a good bridge for dealing poorly with personal revelations about the unbearable moral complexities of the world. 5 stars.

Pont Au Change is a convenient bridge from Chatelet to Conciergerie and Ile de la Cite. The views of the Seine are good as are the views Cross to the Palais of Justice. Once across Notre Dame is a short walk to your left.
