There are several companies that cruise the Canal Saint Martin. I chose the Paris Canal Company because it was easy to locate (along Seine in front of Muse d'Orsay) and because it included both the Seine River and the Canal Saint Martin. The 2.5 hour...More

A relaxing 2 1/2 hour cruise on river & canal. Interesting to see Paris from another angle & to see how the locks work-we went through a few! Informative commentary & accomplished 'seamanship'.

Nice experience seeing Paris from the canals and a bit from the Seine. The only, but quite serious complaint: the English speak was not good enough, difficult to understand due to bad pronunciation, in fact 3.5 would be the correct rating

This is a great way to see a different part of Paris. There are 9 locks, so you have to like going through locks! Emerging onto the Seine is brilliant, so go from La Villette down to the Seine, rather than the other way. Also,...More

Our trip already started very relaxed, as we were able to book the tickets online in advance and did not need to print them (digital tickets on a smartphone were sufficient). Because the weather was great, we stayed at the observation deck for the whole...More

We enjoyed the Paris Canal boat tour. We chose it because it included both the Seine and the Canal St. Martin and its locks.

Yes. When we were on the trip there were children on it. For the first hour they were enchanted by the mystery and the locks. However, some did lose their interest. It is a beautiful and interesting trip.
