We sort of accidentally saw this by walking in an open door to the Gardens. We thought it connected to the Palace. Anyways enjoyed the paintings but soon walked back out. Great setting for an art museum.

Many exhibitions are held here round the year. This is one of the most prominent exhibition site in and around Paris. Last week we saw this exhibition on Pissarro named as ‘Pissarro in Eragny’ portraying last two decades of his life. No free entry.

I've seen several brilliant art shows here over the recent past. France tends to use this site as a venue for special exhibitions. So you might check prior to your arrival to see what's on. The one that I recently viewed and is just finishing...More

Always admiring the detailed tiny brushstrokes of Pissaro, but who knew of his life, his extensive periods, what a talent! The exhibit was well appointed and explained his different life phases along with the related artworks.

What a wonderful exhibit of everyday life! I learned so much about Pissarro's work and family life. Afterwards, you can enjoy the Luxembourg Gardens and have tea sandwiches, coffee and dessert at Angelinas... all in the same location.

The exhibition opened my eyes on Camille Pissarro and his art. The paintings are beautiful and the audioguide gives you a good picture of the artists life. If you visit the Luxembourg gardens, its well worth while to pop into the museum as well. The...More

If you're into Pissarro go - but it is a small poorly lit exhibit. And no permanent collection. Neither the exhibit nor the Gardens are memorable.

We visited the museum to see the temporary exhibition of Camille Pissarro an impressionist painter. First we meandered through the Luxembourg Gardens which is located next to the Museum. Afterwards we went to the cafe in the museum. Very pretty cafe and wonderful pastries. Well...More

I enjoy walking around the Jardins du Luxembourg and the best part of my walk this year was to discover the special exhibit of works by Pissarro in the art museum attached to the gardens. I had not seen any advertising for the exhibit until...More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic
and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is

ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
art school and small museums hide in unassuming
squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the

We bought the tickets on line via the website and didn't encounter any problems, we noted on the day that the queue was short so buying in advance may not be absolutely necessary.
