Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were travelling with children - a 12 year old old, an 8 year old and a 6 year old. We’d done the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Sacre Cour and the Big Bus Tour, but this was by far their favourite. They loved the old fashioned rides and I have to say the beautiful gardens and layout was much appreciated by the adults too. No queues, even in August, and an altogether enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

I was curious to see this little fragment of the immense Bois de Boulogne after my visit to Fondation Louis Vuitton. I was enchanted. By mid-November, the autumn atmosphere is as good as it gets, and though nearly empty and a little melancholic (it was mid-afternoon as I got there), the park is very romantic, with rétro music playing and small critters in the meadows and ponds and cages. It makes an interesting contrast with La Défense and provided the conditions for some suggestive photos :)

Went there with my sons, interesting sceneries and many exciting rides, which cost you a fortune if you come with several children. There are tickets for simple entry at 5 € per person , a pass for all attractions will cost 28 € per person. The rides are attractive ,so you are better off to buy a pass, which also grants access to the vast 360 ° cinema. For hot days there are a host of water games as well as water spray dispensers acting as natural AC's.
You had better plan for a whole , long day to take advantage of the pass and don't forget to bring your food and drinks, the prices at the many food stalls are quite hefty. Most attractions+rides were well maintained and clean and the queues were tolerable.

We had no idea how much there was to do here so only went for the afternoon! We will definitely go again for a full day with a picnic!
There are lots of rides, age restrictions apply on some. Entry fee was €5 for an adult but rides aren’t included so you need to buy tickets from a machine or buy a wristband. There were giant swings, roller coaster, bumper cars, enchanted river boat ride etc. There are adventure playgrounds, a splash park, animals to see, pony rides!
We took at taxi from Eiffel Tower area: it was about 2 miles (€10).

Two five year old young ladies, their moms and grandparents give resounding thumbs up to our experience at Jardin D'Acclimatation! We visited on a weekday when the French children were in school and there were NO lines....we just went from one ride to another. The park is lovely. The rides are primarily childrens rides but non the less exciting. Everything is clean, clean, clean and grounds are lovely. I can understand the concerns of some reviewers regarding cost. We found the cost to be controlled by our use of the various play areas. One was a water feature area (which wasn't on because of the weather) that still had climb upons etc. enough to keep the girls busy. Another a playground area that was a big hit. These areas require no tickets beyond the admission fee. Staff were kind and attentive. A French family had recommended the Jarden to me and it was one of the best experiences during our family week in Paris.

For two adults and children aged 6 and 9 would you recommend a day pass each?
Or day passes for the kids and a book of tickets for attractions?
Can these be bought at the gate? Thanks

I think the day passes are very good value and you only have to go on 6 rides to make it worthwhile. And there are enough rides to keep you all amused. Double check the prices as they may have gone up. And yes it’s easier to buy on the day. We bought day passes in advance and then had to walk far to customer services to get a special wrist band. But, if you do it in the door, it’s instant. And there wasn’t a discount to buying In advance.

Bonjour,
Cordialement,
Diana
