Fancy Mall, 9th floor view, pay to use WC

It's very nice on the inside and plenty of levels of shipping. The 9th floor is wheee the observation deck is. However, keep in mind you must pay to use the restroom.

Now this is a very classy retail department store befitting Paris. None of the push and pulls of the riffraff which inhabits the Galaries Lafayette next door. Staff are knowledgable and ever so friendly and helpful. And they all admit to speaking English. Beautifully layer out with tasteful merchandising display. A truely lovely shopping experience.

This is a very upmarket store and is on par with Sogo and Mitsukoshi in Japan. There was even a queue outside of Chanel ! They have a great selection of designer clothes and a coffee shop on the lower level. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. If you love cooking the kitchen equipment section is excellent.... More

It's a mall with horrific service. I shopped all day, everywhere was great about the duty paperwork until Printemps. The lady yelled at me! You even have to fill everything out yourself on the computer while they stand over you like you are a child. They could just be doing, like every other store. I won't ever go back.

A very good big mall here. You can shop here for branded products. The service is average. The price is on the higher side.

...and probably enjoy drinks on the roof. But early March, bar is not open yet. 9th floor of great shopping center - take a break and look at Paris from very different angle.

Whilst there are excellent shopping facilities - and service to match - on each floor of both buildings, for every taste, a respite on the roof might be required for a re-charge or a decision to be made. Food on the roof a limited, but the views are not. A good starting point for an expedition! No restrictions.

Was in Printemps shopping. My wife left a fur trimmed hat on the sofa of the Channel shop when we left. She realized the next day where she had left it, and we went back the next day. The staff at Channel were very helpful. The manager said she did find it and even remembered exactly where it was left.... More

Went there to have a coffee with my wife after a meeting. Surprisingly this brasserie on the 6th floor was very quite (5PM on a Friday during the Sales), the coupole amazing and beautiful. Can't tell about the food but worth going there to give it a try.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
