I love experiencing this bar. I have never been there during the week so have never tried the food. But I enjoy the idea that this restaurant, once a bar in NY, was dismantled and put together in Paris - since 1911!! They claim to...More

This is a wonderful oasis in Paris! It is an American bar close to the Opera. It is the oldest cocktail bar in Europe which gives you an idea how great it is. I have been here many times and it is the best.

Went to Harry's on my 60th birthday. It was our first trip to Paris, and we went here because it was where Ernest Hemingway used to go, and I am from the same hometown and high school. Plus, we were curious to see the legendary...More

Think that's all I need to say really. Great bar and atmosphere but costly for two drinks. Friendly staff.

A charming bar with great ambience and lots of history. Expensive? You bet, but worth it for at least one. Live a little!

Great ambiance as you walk into the "Oldest Cocktail Bar in Europe", but it's quickly tempered by the very aloof bartender. The $15 bloody mary we were begrudgingly served was pretty mediocre. The place had a really great old world feel, but the prices, drink...More

Made the pilgrimage to Harry's Bar in Paris yesterday and was disappointed to find a basic sports bar type atmosphere, filled with typical American tourists with not so good drinks. Sat at a table in the back, in a quite stuffy room and ordered the...More

We stopped in for a few drinks and to listen to the piano jazz that was playing. This bar has heavy history and is definitely worth a stop. Tons of great memorabilia in an intimate setting. Check it out you will like it.

The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,
and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here,
modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros
predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
