We have just returned from a fabulous day having completed the Versailles tour with Raquel Granda. If we could award 6 stars we would!! We had our twelve year old son with us and were not sure he would enjoy a lengthy walking tour but...More
While many reviews detail how well Paris Muse tours does with families with children (and maybe this is the best test for a touring company!), I had the great fortune of booking a solo tour of the Louvre and it was money and time very...More
Our family of four (kids ages 16 & 12) wanted to visit the Louvre, but didn’t just want to wander aimlessly. Let’s face it, one could be in the Louvre for three weeks. I booked a tour through Paris Muse, on recommendations of friends, and...More
Amazing and amazing. I haven’t taken to TripAdvisor for years and I am here today because we had such an amazing experience with Emma (our amazing high energy guide, teacher and walking encyclopedia) from Paris Muse Private tours. Both my kids (9yr olds) could not...More
We are not tour people. We like to explore on our own at our own pace. We were planning a visit to the Louvre and during my search, Paris Muse came up. I could not believe the percentage of Excellent ratings so I started to...More
We booked the "Introduction to the Treasures of the Louvre" group tour and were pleasantly surprised when we were the only 2 people on the tour. Our guide was exceptional and spoke very good English. She toured us around in an efficient manor, hitting all...More
We took a private tour through Montmartre with Eva on Sunday afternoon and it was just wonderful! Eva provided details and context for the history of this beautiful neighborhood in Paris, while we walked (slow enough for my senior husband and me!). Even though it...More
We did the Muse Clues tour in August with Nathalie, who was a wonderful and informative guide. I still think almost daily about Winged Victory and the Venus de Milo! Nathalie did a wonderful job engaging our three kids, ages 8, 10 and 11, and...More
We did the French Revolution Murder Mystery tour and the Muse Cluse tours with a ten year old, both pre-booked as private tours. These were both fantastic experiences.
The French Revolution tour is listed as 12+, but our 10 year old found it fascinating and...More
From the majestic Louvre to the regal Palais-Royal, this neighbourhood oozes luxury. The grand arches along Rue de Rivoli are shadowed by mosaics in front of decorated vitrines and hotels. Place Vendôme is lined with the world’s best jewelers and their glittering window displays. Every other establishment has someone to open the door for you or park your car. You can spend hours gazing at its haute couture shops
or lingering over a meal at any of its chic eateries. After all that indulgence, the Tuileries gardens provide stately respite, while theatres compete for your applause. It's a neighbourhood that draws admirers from around the world, all attracted to the luxe life in Paris.

Hi ! I actually think 4,5 years old is too young to visit the Louvre, even with the Muse tour... they have a younger children programm, but I would also recomend to email them and ask them about it. Probably the Cité des Sciences, the jardin d'acclimatation and renting a no license boat on the Seine are better options ;-) have a good trip!
