Supposedly the Virgin Mary appeared to one of the faithful here so now this church is popular with pilgrims who hope to catch a glimpse. Probably won't happen. Inside is pretty but this is not a major church in Paris. I prefer Bon Marche next door.

This is one of the most spiritual places in Paris. People come here from all around the world to ask the Virgin Mary to bestow graces upon them. The origins of the miraculous medal started here. Although finding the place may be difficult as you must find a passage to the chapel on the side of a huge building complex,... More

This is one of only a couple of places in the world that the Virgin Mary appeared more than once. If you are religiously inclined I encourage you to go. Buy a medallion from the gift shop (3.00) or something. I keep one in my wallet. One of the least known things about Paris for sure.

This was a must do for me as I was schooled in an establishment for Daughters of Charity, having the same church architecture as the one in Rue du Bac. It is a beautifully crafted church with 3 masses going on during the day and a small boutique that sells the famous medal in different shapes and sizes. If you're... More

Small chapel with a large following. There are 3 daily masses and each is crowded. The main altar and background are beautiful

This is one for the devout Catholics who worship the Miraculous Medal, and who have a special affinity for such objects. Not all that impressive as a building, just a nice quiet church, where you can spend some time. Right in the heart of town, so it is easy to get to. There is a souvenir shop, where you can... More

We always go by this chapel when in Paris. Wonderful, quiet and peaceful place to sit and let the craziness of life dissipate. Masses are said in multiple languages throughout the day.
