At our recent visit to Paris our kids saw the ad for the aquarium and talked us into going. I didnt expect much but was more than pleasantly surprised. The aquarium was quite big and the highlights included several medusa tanks, a big shark tank and a pool for petting koi and other goldfish. This is probably not what you... More

I loved the fact that it was so close to the Eiffel Tower and right in town compared to other attractions. We used the metro (line 6) and got off at Trocadero. Entry ticket was a bit pricey. My first impression was that the aquarium was small with limited variety of sea creatures, but I was so wrong. There are... More

First of all, people working there are very rude. They do not speak English and they speak bad for you in French in front of you if they realize you do not speak French. Management should definitely consider this when hiring people to this attraction. We decided to visit Cineaqua aquarium on our last day in Paris, since we had... More

This was the first aquarium I visited so I can't compare with other ones. Located near Trocadero square, it's hidden between the trees in a nearby park. The price is reasonable and although the aquarium is probably not the biggest one, it's still fun and there are a lot of things to see. I believe it's entertaining even for adults,... More

The Aquarium is far more impressive than we anticipated. Many colorful exhibits including Nemo, Marlin and Dori. There are A LOT of little kids but they add to the atmosphere because of their excitement upon seeing all these sea creatures.

The place needs lots of fixing to be done. Lets start by the entrance, terrible, the elevator for handicapped and strollers is working but is dirty, mirrors broken. The entrance is also dirty and a mess if you are coming with a stroller. However the employees were loving!! The aquarium itself is small and won't take you more than 30... More

This was an excellent visit for a cloudy Day in Paris. There were loads of differing species to view....but the hands on feeding of the Fish and the "Touching Pool" was brilliant. The ability to feel and tickle the fish (who loved it) was the pick of the day....all the children loved it. Recommended on one of those more cloudy... More

We initially considered the aquarium as part of our itinerary; however, we were not sure if it was worth the €20.50 entry; fortunately our Big Bus Paris tickets included a voucher book that offered 2-for-1 tickets to the aquarium. It was a nice sunny day on the day we went to the aquarium, it was very quiet inside; in terms... More

We visited the aquarium and were very impressed to start off with, then we watched the children's musical show which was very well presented and the presenter sang beautifully! After that, my son didn't want to see anything else. We looked quickly at the medusas and the sharks, but he wasn't interested anymore. The petting tank was quite nice. It... More

At some point in your visit -- which shouldn't take you much more than an hour -- you realize you're circling the same shark tank all the time. We went on a cool, cloudy Saturday, and arrived at 4:30 PM to find a line it took us an hour to get through. If my son hadn't had his heart set... More

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
