I've been to a few special expos here, always on the theme of something that is special in France, history, architecture, development. Always very well organized and presented. The permanent collection of models of important French buildings is stunning.

Tourists throng to the Trocodero day and night as it is arguably the best photo spot in Paris to get a picture of the Eiffel Tower. Most don't even realize there three museums and an aquarium on the site as well. One of the three...More

Casts of French cathedral doors and other details are displayed stunningly. To be able to view the medieval statuary up close is a huge treat. It shows that the sculptors were true artists, and not the clumsy craftsmen that much of medieval statuary suggests. When...More

Located in the Palais Chaillot is the French architectural heritage museum that showcases its development through the ages. The galleries des Moulages houses models of great French cathedrals and is a very interesting experience.

The ground floor holds over 300 castings, most life-size, of architectural treasures from all over France, with an emphasis on fabulous, flamboyant gothic. I had a ''Paris Pass'' which included entry otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered, Believe me, it is terrific and you will...More

I very much enjoyed this. The quality and attention to detail is impressive. This clearly shows the huge amount of work the French have put into their national heritage. The 3D cut models of the buildings were especially interesting. There are many life-size models of...More

There's lots of beautiful reproduction of statuary, church fronts, etc. There are also some models and displays on the top floor. There is a recreation of a home which was actually a lot of fun to walk through. I enjoyed being able to see the...More

This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive

florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury

famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings
