Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A cute little landmark with historical significance, a must-see when in Montmartre. It is on the must route anyway. At the foot of the Radet windmill, a family of millers established a "guinguette"/ a tavern, the Galette mill, immortalized by August Renoir in one of his paintings. The painting is today in the Orsay Museum and is considered Renoir's masterpiece.

Once, there were more than two dozen windmills on the high ground of the Montmartre, grinding flour and pressing grapes. Only two survive, both along the upper Rue Lepic. One is the Moulin de la Galette, immortalized by Renoir’s painting of the eponymous dance hall. Now on private property, only its blades are visible above the trees. Next to it was the Moulin du Radet. Relocated, it now adorns a restaurant—which, confusingly, has named itself after the more famous Moulin de la Galette.

Walking up the hill to Montmartre, was a little tiring however, worth the effort to see this windmill that was built in the 1700’s , used to ground flour, which one of many dotted around the hill, this one currently sits above a restaurant, awesome piccies to be had.

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around the wonderful Montmartre District ( Arrondissement 18 ) when we chanced upon two windmills , Moulin De Brute Fin and this windmill called Moulin Radet .
Moulin Radet was one of 30 windmills that once dotted the hill of Montmartre and dates from 1717 ,this mills original purpose was to ground flour ,although you can't enter the windmill you can easily view it from Rue Lepic ,makes for some wonderful photographs ,it's well worth checking out if you're in the Montmartre District.

Even if you can't go in to have a seat, this is a very classic historic site on how was Paris built in the past

There are still windmills ( Moulin) on Montmartre and Moulin Radet is one that is easily seen from the street and is nice to take photos.
There is a restaurant here also.
