Napoleon's home island. Beautiful weather and lovely architecture. Very picturesque seaside vistas. Look for the donkey's grazing in the old fort moat.

Large open square with lots of places to eat and shop on each side. Side streets off of the main square are better chances to get away from the commercial aspect. Beautiful place to just stroll.

This is a large open square, with lots of market stalls and statues. When we were there it was very busy. We had a day in Ajaccio off a cruise ship, and just wandered the town and around the harbour.
