Avoid venturing in when it is too hot, but early and late season this is the perfect coastal walking. Take water and a picnic as you wont find anything enroute, simply superb - especially as a family.

Drove through this area on the journey from Calvi to Saint Florent. Brillint scenery so try to be the passenger. Wish we had had the time to explore the area more fully.

Extremely unusual, rugged terrain with distant views of the Sea. An interesting drive on curvy but well maintained roads with plenty of pull-offs to enjoy the sights. Highly recommend.

As we were there in spring everything was green and blooming, so not very deserty but beautiful none the less. You can get quite a view of it from the road starting not far from St Florence.
