Really nice visit and well worth 25 Euro for a tour and 3 full glasses of different fizz at the end. Train tour was nice and liked the little head phones. Lift down was abit tight though as lots of people in it. Highly recommend...More

What a disappointment, a standard audio guide tour through just some cellars, nothing to see(ok the cellars look cool, but you only go in the tourist part, no champagne stored) nothing special told. What a waste of time and money. For Mercier it's an efficient...More

We visited as a family and even though my wife and son do not drink, we all loved the tour. Traveling through some of the 18km of wine cellars by small train, followed by a tasting, was both amazing and informative.

It is a very interesting tour that you can take by train in the underground cellar that has 18 Km. Good history about champagne and start of Mercier. Definitely worth to do it if you are in Epernay.

I chose to visit the Mercier cellar because my 8 year old son was with me . The concept of the train seemed nice and reviewers have written it could be a little bribe for them to accompany during the rest of the visit ....More

Perhaps the most extensive champagne caves/crayeres. Elevator down to caves and small train used to tour caves - very suitable for those with restricted molbility. Many sculptured reliefs though out caves.

We really enjoyed the tour via electric tram, followed by a very instructive tasting of several cuvees.

Ride by train through the massive extensive cellars, see a Statue of Miss Mercier and the carvings on the walls and see the biggest barrel in the world in my view!

Sorry, to clarify we didn't book but just showed up. Might be worthwhile calling to see what times the tours are. Lucky we didn't have to wait long.
Hello my husband and I are staying in eperney in september for 5 days and was wondering if the mercier tour was good also did you book before you went, or did you just turn up, and also i have had different prices quoted from 13.50 euros each to 150aud each hoping you might be able to help me with this. I'm planning on taking my wife to Mercier this month in July. I noticed that in order to make a reservation online we have to have 10 people in our group, we only have 2. Can we just walk in and join a tour??? Thanks, Ryan
