A renaissance palace turned into a museum, this place however only has 3 charming rooms to visit Inside. The exterior architecture is however marvelous.

A free museum that you should visit for the beautiful (albeit eclectic) location - a rich family's house, between medieval and renaissance, with interesting decorations fitted in a tight space.

This is one of the free municipal musea in Bourges. It is worth a quick look, especially for the outside. Inside it is not very exciting.

In a town that includes the Palais Jacques Coeur and several other museums, it would be easy to overlook the Hotel Lallemant, but this would be a big mistake. The building itself is extremely beautiful with numerous carvings over the doorways and in the passageways....More

The Museum of Decorative Arts has been housed in the Hôtel Lallemant since 1951. It houses a very interesting collection of rare and antique furniture, many with beautiful and intricate marquetry. Other items include, glass ware, tapestries, miniature furniture also with marquetry, clocks etc. Definitely...More
