This was the first time my family and I came to France. We picked this wine tour based off of the reviews on TripAdvisor and their web site. Four adults: Male 58, Female 56, Daughters 26 and 20. This trip was both entertaining, educating and most of all FUN. When we made our reservations, back in February for our May... More

Had an absolutely fantastic day on the Gourmet Grand Premier Tour. Both Joy and Bob were extremely knowledgeable and kept the day interesting. We visited a varied range of wine growers and the lunch at Levernois was really delicious. I can not recommend Burgundy Discovery enough.

Our visit to several wineries and lunch with our guide Robert our favorite activity in Beaune! This wine tour did an excellent job showcasing the various offerings of the Burgandy region and we got a very helpful overview of the region along the way. We were able to visit 3 wineries across the region and also had a wonderful local... More

But it’s not Napa. If your idea of a wine tasting weekend is to jump in the car with some friends and drive through the “valley” stopping whenever you want to for some free wine samples, desperately trying to keep “the buzz” going all weekend. Is that you? Move on to other reviews. However, if you want to meet the... More

For our group of friends, Robert was worth every single penny! He exceeded our expectations. Because Burgundy is SO VERY different from California, you *really* need an insider to help set up tastings with quality vineyards and provide introductions to some of the best wines. Thanks to Robert, we met with (and learned from) several wonderful winemakers about the region,... More

My fiancé took me on this tour for my birthday because he knows my love for wine and food! Joy was a great host as she was personable and knowledgeable. She showed us many aspects of wine: terroir, production, tasting and history of Burgundy. When we left, we left with knowledge, great memories and some amazing wines to take home.... More

A party of 5 we thoroughly enjoyed our two days spent with Robert as our guide in Burgundy. His deep knowledge and appreciation of the history and traditions of Burgundy winemaking made this trip superb for each member of our party from the wine novice to those with their own deep knowledge and appreciation of wine. With Robert's selection of... More

We had an absolutely fabulous day with Robert and another couple on the Hidden Secrets tour. He picked us up from our hotel in a spotless vehicle and gave us handouts of what we were going to be doing that day. We were able to see 3 vineyards in various locations so we could compare and contrast the differences, as... More

A great day touring and tasting some of Beaunes best but not so famous wineries. Patrick was an excellent and well informed host. An excellent lunch stop completed a thoroughly enjoyable day. Although we know about wine production we learnt a lot more from our visit.

We had Patrick as our tour guide. Our travel agent knew we wanted to go on wine tours and scheduled us for TWO DAYS. Way too much. One was the "regular" tour (9-5:30 with lunch) and the second one was the Grand Cru level, where we tasted 3-4 Grand Cru and had an unbelievable lunch at a Michelin 1* restaurant... More
