Honestly I don't understand why there are so many good reviews. The entry fee is 20.75 per adult and there is nothing to justify the cost. The infrastructures are old and small. The main exhibits are the sharks, sea lions, penguins and sea otters. There are...More

as a diver and a sailor whose house has it's feet in the sea, I am naturally drawn to exhibits like this but tend to be a bit cynical. However this exceeded all my expectations and then some. Fantastic Aquariums; Fish, sharks, mammals, flora, shellfish...More

What a fantastic gem in Brittany! We travelled well over an hour for this attraction and it certainly didn't disappoint. Our 10 month old girl had a brilliant day, the exhibits are well thought out so that there's plenty of room for everyone to see....More

Enjoyed the aquarium although a little expensive for what is there. The sharks were the best bit. We managed look round in an hour or so.

Large aquarium, well located ,,,, that's the positive But, at the end, very disappointing. Not well maintained, apart the "Pavillon Bretagne" well renovated, Nearly all in French, self service restaurant poor and expensive, entrance 20€ rather expensive. No a real room dedicated to environment and...More

Very large aquarium housed in 3 domes, a few miles out from the centre of Brest. On first impressions it looks a bit tired and neglected, but once inside it does what it says. The “Brittany Coast” dome is the largest and most detailed dome....More

We spent a couple of hours here on a rainy day while holidaying in Landudec. The aquarium is good and if you haven't been to one in France then I would recommend, however, we have visited the Aqarium in St Malo a few times and...More

So for a rauny sunday it was ok. 20.- per adult and nothing too spectacular inside. 3 zones (tropical, polar, breton) and far too little space for those poor creatures... well anyway, not catastrophic but not great either.More

Thank you for your review. Actually, Océanopolis presents four environments, polar, tropical and breton as you said, but also a vast open-air area, displaying european otters and sea otters. The space available for the animals displayed in our aquariums is not as small as you...More

On a rainy day in Brest (and there are a few of them) there can be few better options than a visit to this marine aquarium on the outskirts of the town - and if you do not have a car with you there is...More

Nothing to add ! Thank you very much for this clear and comprehensive review about us. Just a word for our visitors who come by car. Océanopolis proposes large and free car parks located within easy walking distance from the entrance. Just make sure you...More
