Landed at the small airfield here on a lovely August afternoon. After a 45 minute walk to the village, we found the tourist information office next to the church as pointed out by the helpful airport manager. We stay a week-end on this island which is well preserve. We took the boat from Le Conquet. For a quiet holiday this would be a good place to come. Lots of good cycling (and places to hire) and walks. Attractive coastlines and beaches. In Lampaul at least, eating options are limited. We flew in. Airport not attended from 1130 local to 1430 (long lunch). No fuel. Overnight parking is charged €9.

The lighthouse! The view!), which is very near to Le Conquet. Then we took a boat (we made reservations) to the isle Ouessant and experienced the... More
