This is a small but interesting collection of Asian history and artefacts but we are definitely bias as we are a Eurasian family who live in Asia. If you actually go through the narrative that is provided then it doubles in interest. The staff are very obviously interested in what they do as was/is the collector. The fact that they... More

Went together with the guide. Got a lot of interesting and useful information. The visit may take in general even few hours, if you want to go in details of each culture.

This collection, said to be the second in quality in France (after the Musee Guimet in Paris) was disappointing as the finest pieces are not featured. Too many objects are displayed and cases seemed sometimes more like open storage than a museum installation. My husband and I were alone in the museum during our visit and we had to request... More

Private Collection = Moral Conundrum The artifacts are brilliant, but don't expect an explanation for everything (or even half). Located in what I assume to be an old home, it was not what I was expecting. That being said their are things inside that I would probably never seen again in my life, and I learned quite a bit of... Thank you for your comment! Indeed, our museum shelters a great number of artworks, over 1 000! With our written book, we try to give the public a certain amount of informations. For some people, it is too much, for others, it lacks a lot. We hope you will come back to appreciate the artworks again and we will be... More

Is fun to find this. Is right next to the public car park called Gare De Midi. In my ignorance has thought there was a station and programmed the satellite navigator to the station which is a good mile from it. Finally got our bearings and found the place. Was very impressed with the museum. Guidebooks in many languages. Saw... More

Lots to see. Its very basic - but it ALL about the artefacts. A superb collection and a huge amount of history on display. I thought it would take 30 mins - we were a lot longer. The owner is a genius man - his life story is so interesting. Go and see, only €10 so practically free!

I arrived after lunch and was told i was the first visitor of the day. For those of us who are interested in Oriental art, this is a little gem! Lots of detail about the exhibits although the museum is rather confusing in terms of following a logical route. But excellent artifacts.

We decided to escape the sun for a day and visit this museum and we were pleasantly surprised!! There is a large and Interesting collection from China, India, Népal and Tibet. There was a collection of photos from Sri Lanka (until September i think) showing the main places of Buddhist Worship in Kandy .Dambulla etc. Definately worth a visit!!

This is a private collection on public display and if you are interested in Asian art and artifacts it is a facinating visit away from the sun, sand, cafe's and restaurants. In museum terms it is traditional with most exhibits displayed in cases and larger exhibits displayed on the walls or the floor area. The english guide is helpful but... More

Réally impressive collection - particularly from India. Very confusing guidebook system - displays are numbered but then it is hard to find the item they are referring to in the guide. Nevertheless, if you have an interest in Asian art, I highly recommend this museum. Recommend 2-3 hours.
