Beautiful historical buildings in this city!

Worth a walk on the riverfront to see this even if unable to get photos due to crowds! Very popular.

It's easy to get to and when you are there, you know. The water creates a mirror showing everything behind and above it so it really creates a good image. Its a nice place to go and take photos and it's a nice open space. Also the architecture of the buildings are really impressive and you can walk right up... More

A great place to visit and even lunch at when in Bordeaux watching the world go by. The architecture is amazing and looks out over the river

Very nice to visit too bad that the watermirror wasn't working due to wintertime. Easy to find nothing more to say about it

The stock exchange is a stunning exampl of 18th Century architecture. It is supposed to be reflected by the Mirror D'Eau which would make it stunning, however the mirror had no water in it. It can be reached either by a short walk from the city centre or you can catch a C tram.

This place is gorgeous, peaceful and really nice for a walk. Even when it is raining (it actually was raining when we were there)! Don't miss this Place de la Bourse!!!

Massive venue for courses/congresses. Right in the city center, it emanates history and architectural beauty. A mandatory view if you go to Bordeaux.

It's one of those things that make Bordeaux a truly magical place. I love the sensation this place gives you in summer - there's nothing nicer than a refreshing "puff" of the mist and suddenly everything feels better. And it also changes the whole square into a big mirror!

We visit the Place Royale on Christmas Day. It was a cold day but beautiful. All the kids were playing with their new toys. The pool located at the front for the Palace is really beautiful.

This is a beautiful square featuring classic 18th century buildings And the usual fountain in the centre. It faces the Garonne River, and is situated across the road from gardens on the Quai du Marechal Lyautey. Here you will als find The Miroir d'Eau, a huge water feature which reflects these beautiful buildings. Unfortunately, it was not turned on when... More
