We found this tourist bureau both very busy and very helpful when you got to the front of the queue, so it is worth the wait.

The Bordeaux Tourist Office is the ideal place for maps, information and booking tours. Although it is extremely busy, we never had to wait for long to be helped. We were pleased with the information we received and we found ourselves there as a meeting point for the day tours that we booked to the Saint-Emilion/Pomerol and Medoc wine regions,... More

The bus driver was excellent, but the tour guide was brilliant - informative, knowledgeable and very, very French. 3 excellent Chaeaux's visited - Lynch-Moussac beautiful and shown around by their cellar master, Chateaux Lascombe - tremendous guide and got to taste the grapes - and oh! What a lunch, truely amazing. then to Margaux, more grapes to try (and seeds... More

Seems all tours start here. The office was a great resource of information. We booked a walking tour and a ½ day Medoc wine tour in advance. Our tickets were waiting for us at the service desk. While standing outside the office and waiting for instructions was a little confusing given all the tours that start here, the tour leaders... More

They have a great selection of souvenirs - got an umbrella that looks like a wine bottle and other things as well.

The tourist office has a couple of outlets. They have a vast amount of information regarding sights, restaurants, etc. You can also purchase to items in their shop. They can arrange tickets for tours, which usually meet by the office. Make sure you check their website for availability and information about special events.
