Hot spot for shopping in Bordeaux, extremely long street with all sorts of brand shops on both side. The street is always crowded sometimes to the point you cant walk anymore. Due to high rental costs some of the items can be found elsewhere for...More

We stayed quite close to this street and found it an interesting, busy & bustling place to walk full of shops, boutiques and restaurants. It's long avenue makes it a good walk with lots to see. The only major downside for me is that it...More

This street is over 1km long and had over 250 shops. Great if you like shopping but quite a spectacle anyway. We did this as part of the walking tour.

Great shops, lots of people, little places for a snack. Also a main artery to get you to the old part of the city or back to the main square. We were up and down many times. Loved it.

A magnificent street full of quality shops as far as the eye can see. Something for everyone with lots of eating places and sandwich bars too.

This pedestrianised street has a decent selection of shops..........both chain stores and individual boutique stores. Wander down side streets to get a better selection..............and rest you feet for a while with a lunch stop at the many restaurants on offer.

This is about quantity of shops rather than quality. If you want to find shops that are more original, more upmarket and also avoid the crowds, then go elsewhere! On the positive side, however, it's a beautiful street with no vehicle access.
