The bridge can be walked or there are river/canal tours which will give you the best perspective of this historical feature. The ship like point is quite something up close. Worth the trip
We used this approach to go from our hotel to La Petite France area. What a plasant surprise to find historic artifacts in the inside of the bridge and great views from it baranda.
A beautiful area in Strasbourg especially at night when it's all lit up. If you take the boat trip you will travel right by this area and they will explain to you its significance
Everyone goes on top to see the view over the city, which will well worth the effort, but the actual covered walkway contains damaged statues from many of the buildings that have been renovated. The collection makes and interesting if eerie exprerience.
Nice bridge with 3-4 towers on it. It is the entrance to Petite France. There is lovely french coffee bar at the beginning of this bridge, totally recommend for visit.

Cant miss this during the Petite France walkabout....Will not blow your mind but gives the area an ambience sympathetic with the buildings etc..
The best part is that you can actually go to the top of the covered bridge on the roof area and enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding. At night, the bridge is lit by color light, making it really quite wonderful to look at!...More
