Not knowing the city we went to the ticket desk where the blonde receptionist could barely bring herself to be polite. We were unaware that there were 3 museums in one. The pricing was not clear and our change was placed so far away from us we had to reach to pick it up. She did not offer the audio... More

The architecture is stunning. The views are amazing. To just see the structure itself would take ip only a short amount of time, as the accessible parts are quite small. Inside, there are three different museums that you ca visit. I visited only one, the Musée des Beaux-Arts, which was nice but not a must-see, in my opinion.

We only visited the Fine Art Museum here so not sure what other museum is there and we arrived quite late, but it was still bright and even more lovely when it became dark and the lit up. Beautiful architecture.

If you're visiting the Cathedral, be sure to visit the Palais de Rohan as well. There are museums housed here, but it's worth it just for the building itself. Visited with teens and they loved the library - thought it was like something out of Harry Potter.

One thing to consider, is if you would really like to enjoy the architecture, you should go and visit the museum inside (a ticket was around 30 EUR). There is not a lot of place to visit except for the alley. Nevertheless, you can walk around, enjoy the architecture (if you are a modeler or game designer, you can get... More

Although the majority of traditional architecture in Alsace is of German traditional origin, this Palais de Rohan is a typical sign of French presence here, from the times of great French baroque (all who love baroque, will surely enjoy time here). Thus this palace makes a great cohesion between German and French cultures in the Alsace capital of Strasbourg, this... More

A touch expensive, but do ask about available discounts (even for 60+). Fine Art has so many famous things and some that are less familiar but will stick with you.Art Decoatif starts off drily but gets better when you come onto clocks and Tomi Ungerer's toy collection. The toilets are on the stairs (I guess you could use them without... More

Really nice palace to visit and we were lucky enough to visit this when it was free. It is well decorated inside and is typical of 18th century building and architecture and has period furniture which was great to see. There some museums housed in this palace as well; art and archeology.

The combi ticket for the 3 museums inside is worth it. a lot to see, prepare to spend at least 2 hours if you are an avid art enthusiast.

We enjoyed our visit to the Palais de Rohan during a recent visit. Entrance to one of the museums inside was included with our Strasbourg City Pass. There are multiple museums inside, all worth a visit. However the Archaeology Museum was one of the best we've seen in Europe. We had no idea going in how extensive, and well presented... More
