We love old churches and since this one was started in 1120 it certainly qualifies as "old". It's a "must see" if you are in Colmar.

As we had a view on the tower and spire of the Saint-Martin Collegiate church from the window of our accommodation on Grand’Rue, one of the first things we did was having a closer look at it. Walking around the church, which dates from the...More

This is an unusual building in that it has columns that are painted throughout, giving it a feeling of being out in the world rather than inside a building. The traditional paintings are impressive and the light from the high windows gives the whole building...More

This venue looks stunning, it is a Roman Catholic Church of Gothic style. Stunning inside and out !!

You can find it easily if walking around the cute city. It's a nice, old church. Inside -in my opinoin- it is too dark and hardly can see anything but has a good athmosphere.

Worth a visit and is very old and in very good condition. Surrounded by some amazing historical buildings and nice by night in floodlight. Plenty of bars in the area and restaurants too.

Beauty in town. Very robust and lovely to see. Nit sure about opening hours to visit interior. Go here at night and see how beautiful the Eglise is durning dawn.

The facade of the church is well maintained and accessible. It took about 15 minutes to go through. We admittedly enjoyed more of it sitting at a nearby restaurant and enjoying a coffee.

One certainly do not miss this when in Colmar, or rather, it's hard to be missed as it's really huge.
