This is a very beautiful church, and so big, you can't help but come across it in Colmar. Architecturaly very impressive. We used this church as a point on the tourist map from which we navigated

During a walking tour of Colmar, make the time to stop and see this lovely church with the quite impressive carvings adorning the door frames.

It's a decent church with some items of interest inside. Not a must see, but worth a stop inside. Some nice stained glass.

Right in the center of town, this church was very beautiful on the inside, not so much on the outside. The church is fairly large, with many beautiful stained glass windows, nice altar, and a nice sculpture of the last supper.

St. Martin is Colmar's 'Cathedral', a big deal for a small town and rightly so. An uplifting interior is hidden by dingy exterior that supports a lively street scene. Worthwhile visit for about an hour inside and an hour milling around Place de Cathedral for a smack or coffee.

This is a beautiful old church in the heart of Colmar. I understand from our Viking Tour guide that the nest on the top of the church is the home to two storks, Martin and Martina. My only regret is that our tour in Colmar did not allow us time to visit the inside of the church.

Center of the old town; imposing and warm edifice, great interior. Gives one a sense of the scale and importance of this town in past centuries, and its catholic roots.

Lovely cathedral in the heart of old Colmar. Good example of Gothic architecture and lovely interior.

Despite the fact that the church is in Cathedral Place and a massive building, this Collegiate Church has never been the seat of a Bishop hence it is not a cathedral. Despite its impressive exterior and attractive stained glass windows it sadly needs much expensive restoration. The 1755 Silbermann organ case is magnificent however the actual historic Silbermann instrument was... More
