Note: the musuem closes for a midday break. The museum shows models of several sculptures that Barthodi did. One display showed how one of his statues went thru several stages - from the crudest clay thru the final product.

This museum is only for one artist and his life and work but a great one. His creation of the Statue of Liberty was his most noteworthy but his works were many. Faces especially interesting

6€ per person, the exhivition itself was boring but i would say the money was worth planting me with knowledge of who built and when the statue of liberty.

If you have spare time, you can see how Bartholdi lived. (Quite well, it would appear). There is a collection of Jewish items on the ground floor.
