We spent 4 days in Manchester and the first couple of days hadn’t found this place but when we did we loved it. Plenty of gorgeous trendy bars; food looked awesome in so many places and outdoor live band. Definitely recommend a visit

The expansion of this area in the last 15 years is a great success story in the development of Manchester. Major office development mixed with high quality shopping, bars with good outdoor areas and plenty of decent restaurants. Great to wander round

Modern area. Lots of coffee shops etc. Close to public transport. Free city bus is great and stops here

With plenty of quality bars and restaurants, along with some decidedly stylish shops, this is the area to visit and enjoy in Manchester. Gets a bit hectic at lunchtimes and 'end of the working day', but the vibe is quite enjoyable even then.

Very busy restaurant. We were there to help celebrate a 60th birthday. Super friendly staff and very helpful. The salad bar is fantastic with plenty of choice. The meat on skewers was extremely tasty with it being brought frequently.

As a city area the bars are more expensive than outer pubs, but generally did not find too much disparity with other cities. Some places are more expensive than others - just a case of checking out the tariff before you... More
