A crowd of us descended on this Manchester institution during our Christmas get together. Whilst it was busy, service was good and the atmosphere very friendly. As ever, the beer was very good

Tucked away down a little backstreet in city centre. Staff were friendly and nice selection of beers. Good juke box, visited here to check out the Stone Roses mural in the beer garden, well worth the effort.

We have been coming to this pub for longer than I care to remember and I’m glad it is still around. There is always something happening there and it has a friendly, buzzing atmosphere. It is a great place to have a drink before going...More

I was here for a beer whilst staying local the staff were polite and friendly the pub itself is old fashioned and dated with a load of history behind it worth a visit for the history

Traditional old world pub in the very centre of town. Behind the Albert Hall. Good range of beers. Sadly devoid of customers on a Tuesday after work. Please visit

We always go in this pub before we watch any gig at the Albert Hall. Reasonable prices, always busy with a good atmosphere but still always able to get a seat. Very clean and has a guy on the door keeping an eye on things.

I’ve always loved the Abercromby. Proper pub. Great ales and lovely staff. That’s why it’s the first point of call on a Saturday afternoon session with friends. Looking forward to seeing the new mural too!

Only by chance we saw the pub when passing the street and as we were early we popped in. So glad we did, plenty of ales on tap and a great little beer garden out back!
