Absolutely love this library. It's huge, has a lot of good books, customer service is outstanding. The only problem is the kids in the lower library area. They always make a lot of noise, even though the area is made for children, but not high...More

Could spend ages and ages there. Well organised and run. Security was good, and having a Cafeteria with a wide variety, allowed you to have a break, as there was so much to see.

What a great place to visit with fabulous interactive exhibitions. The basement exhibition of the Suffragette movement, provided my local schoolchildren, was really interesting. I also particularly enjoyed The Immigration, suffragette, social housing exhibitions on the ground floor. Definitely worth a visit.

The library is housed in a particularly beautiful building, with a fabulous painted ceiling in the entrance hall. It's a great place to get some work done, quiet and comfortable. There are also free exhibitions.

Hi, Yes we have the MEN on microfilm. It's on open access and can be viewed anytime, no need to book. It's in Archives+ on the ground floor, behind the cafe.
