We were absolutely blown away by the production itself, some gutsy and innovative staging and lighting which worked a treat. In general regarding the venue, the pricing for drinks etc is ridiculously high, on top of ever increasing ticket prices will mean next time we...More

Great venue. Handy for the city centre. Good play as per Peter James's usual standard. Only complaint was that it was far too hot and I was struggling to stay awake.

Due to air conditioning being faulty, we suffered the first half of a show in a hot, stuffy, airless auditorium.

Lovely oldy worldy theatre. Proper seats with personal space yet still cosey. Show was good with props, split stage and excellent dancing. Only downside was the wine bottle offer which was good but had to take skiffs into the show with remaining wine so 3...More

If you're looking for a steakhouse Hawksmoor and Gaucho are both five minutes up Deansgate from the Opera House. They are both a bit pricey but fantastic steaks. My favourite is Gaucho.
