Feels like it has, as I can remember back over 40 years to an active Chinatown here in Manchester. Even though it was 70 years ago in 1948 that the first Chinese restaurant opened in Manchester, which is the 3rd Largest Chinatown in Europe.

Not with a visit in my opinion, really run down area, full of rubbish and scruffy looking buildings. Very little to do or see.

chinatown consists of a street or two, full of little restaurants and some shops, it has a little garden and also the most iconic bit the Chinese Arch, apart from this there is nothing else to see.

Well it's just like any other chinatowns, but with less street food and more proper restaurants. Don't think it's a tourist spot or anything but one can still go there for some (not very) cheap Chinese food/Asian cuisines

You will have a chance to see Manchester City at the Etihad if you can get a ticket. That is worth going if you have time. City play a special brand of football unlike the drab stuff played by the team in Salford. Ahh yes... More
