What a fantastic evening and performance by ARW. Jon Anderson was in great voice, with the usual accomplished playing by Trevor Rabin & Rick Wakeman. "Awakenings" - sublime!

Plenty of leg room & good view of the stage, providing a 6ft 4incher doesn't sit infront of you. We really enjoyed our concert as its an easy walk (15mins) from Picadilly Station, though plenty of car parking area to the rear, provinding you arrive in good time. (have parked there when attending a Quo concert)

Title says it all, the guy really was excellent. Great vocals, great performance. Seeing an artist live can sometimes be disappointing but that wasn't case here. Go see for yourself if you get the chance. Moving onto the venue, it was pretty standard stuff. Converted old theatre, obviously once very grand but showing it's age now. Good accoustics. Plenty of... More

I have been to this venue twice to see a band in concert, wow! The acoustics are amazing, and the decor is even better, very tasteful, needs a touch up here and there but apart from that it's perfect! The staff are extremely friendly here as well as being helpful! This place definitely makes an amazing venue for concerts!

Love this iconic venue. So Rich in musical history. Acoustics are ace and the facilities are great. I don't understand why they remove the lids from your water though. Makes no sense - stupid rule probably from some health and safety numpty. I love the chaos of the place. Always will

Went to see Elbow on March 22nd, lovely to watch music in this place, tiered seats and always a good view with decent acoustics. It puts many modern venues to shame. The only thing stopping me giving it 5 stars is the beer selection, could it possibly be elevated to include some decent ales?

Attended the Elbow concert on 20 March. Band brilliant and the acoustics at this venue are second to none. The whole place could do with an upgrade as it is a little tired in places. Drinks very expensive. We were upstairs in the circle and were constantly interrupted by people either going to the bar or to the toilets. This... More

Fantastic music venue that takes me back to my youth. So much better and more intimate than a large stadium gig. Elbow were amazing, had the audience singing along at the tops of their voices, brilliant

I went with my daughter to see Elbow on Sat 18th Mar. She paid for my birthday treat. The show was absolutely brilliant, but some of the so-called fans spoiled our enjoyment of the concert. The same few people went backwards and forwards to the bar and consequently the toilet, numerous times and disturbed others who had to stand to let... More

Elbow were their usual brilliant selves last night at the best venue to watch live music in Manchester. Seen Elbow at a few locations but the Apollo is small enough to be able to connect with the band yet the accoustics are perfect. It's so much better than in the old days as they've done up the bars and the... More
