We liked this area a lot. It's very picturesque, so take many pictures We found a GREAT teahouse named proper tea right behind the wellington pub ( Tudor style building) Many people were sitting and eating lunch or just people watching. Recommend

The unpredictability of Manchester's weather makes it tricky to plan a day of outdoor activities. What's nice about The Shambles is we can scurry down there when the sun starts peeking out. Plenty places to sit and soak up some vitamin D. Love love love...More

Lovely place to stop off for a drink and something to eat whilst wandering around Manchester. If the weather is fine sit outside and watch the world go by.

If you're in York, a walk down the Shambles is a must. The buildings are centuries old and you feel like you stepped into a picture book. It's absolutely charming.

Filled with locals surrounded by bars and restaurants. Very busy all day long. It is a must see area.

This is a lovely place to be on a sunny day. The Wellington pub is a tourist attraction in itself. We had a lovely meal there one evening. An oasis in the middle of the city!
