Lovely garden centre. Nice selection of plants. Lovely large landscape gardens to walk round. Nice cafe undercover which allow dogs to sit inside. So a wonderful place on a rainy day if you want to just take your dog out for a bit of fresh air and a nice coffee. Chocolate brownies are not to be missed. Cooked onsite and... More

Arrived at the restaurant literally 2 mins before the lunchtime food ended. Good food and with 2 toddlers we were happy there are high chairs available! Had relaxing atmosphere and a little look around the garden centre afterwards. Always find welcoming friendly and helpful staff there. Found a few goodies to keep children happy. When I walked in the center,... More

It's a nice place and firmly improving. However since the new development of the entrance building a few years back it does make you wonder if focus has been lost, or perhaps the management are overwhelmed. The cafe layout and systems are somewhat illogical - different places to order and pay for different hot foods, self serve soup table but... More

Thank you for your review. The cafe is now 11 years old. Increased customer demand (lunch) for hot food let to the implementation of a hot food counter. There are menus also which are located on every table. It may seem illogical and difficult to navigate but we do offer cooked breakfasts and hot lunches from the kitchen and self... More

Used to be a good place HOWEVER not any more, unbelievably rude staff in the coffee shop area, it's also dirty, uncovered food with people sneezing over it, disgusting and overpriced, stuck up arrogant staff members have culminated in us NEVER going back, Tickhill Garden centre cafe area is much much better.

Thank you for your review. Following an exceptionally busy weekend, we have taken steps to ensure enough staff are on duty to keep the cafe tidy and clean all day and that the cakes are covered. We're sorry you didn't enjoy your experience, and hope you will return for another visit. More

Visit this regularly with my mother and we have a good look round the shop which has got a lot of interesting (if pricey) gifts and good (and again in some cases very expensive) food. They have two cafes/coffee shops/restaurants and certainly the cakes and scones are always good as is the coffee. Nice place to pass a couple of... More

We came across this place while we were in the area. It is a good size garden centre which sells a wide range of items as well as plants and gardening stuff. The outside is lovely with the pond and trees and if you are lucky you might see a really low plane coming in to land at the airport.... More

This is a lovely garden centre. There is a huge variety of plants and trees for sale and a lovely tea room. The huge dhow gardens are really worth a good look and walk around. The best garden centre in the area

Its ok, but over crowded and over priced. Food average, vegetable never cooked properly, so all I can say is its ok if you happen to be there and want something to eat.

Thank you for your feedback. In the spring and summer we will be adding extra seat outside of the Garden Restaurant. Our prices are reflective of food prepared and made from scratch using local meats and where possible local vegetables. Please let you know next time you visit if the veg isn't cooked to your liking - so we can... More

We have been here twice and both times the food in the cafe was excellent, great value for money. The cafe is clean and well kept.
