Great day out. Took a friend with a mobility scooter, she never would have got round without it. You can aquire the use of push wheelchairs, but the pusher needs to be reasonably fit. Loads of seats to take a rest if you need. I have also been with Grandson and daughter .My only downside is the catering. When busy ,... More

I love this place! Great experience with a good variety of different animals in great surroundings both for the animals and for viewing. This place is not just for families and children, adults will find it interesting too. Book tickets online to avoid lengthy queuing. Take your own food as well as the food outlets are very busy, especially in... More

The animals are housed in big enclosures to suit their size and characteristics and the enclosures are laid out in such a way that you are almost certain to be able to see the animals.

We took our granddaughter and she loved it, and so did my wife and I. There is loads to see all well set out and easy on the walking. Loved it so much we bought a year pass which is £55. Each for adults. Which if you go 3 times, and we will, is cheaper than buying a day pass.... More

Not the biggest but one of the best. And it's expanding ! The park is very well laid out and the animal enclosures are excellent. You won't get the range of animals you can see in big zoos like Chester but it won't stop you enjoying yourself. Lions, tigers, leopards, rhinos. Meerkats, mongooses and armadillos. Polar bears and plenty more... More

I've taken my son a few times though he's still a little young at 2 to fully appreciate all the animals. There's a great indoor and outdoor play area and another amazing looking one under construction now which is outside and fully made of wood, which looks like it's going to be great for slightly older kids. It's best suited... More

Have to admit to being a bit sceptical about this place thinking that it would be cramped and worrying there wouldn't be enough space for the many animals I know they have , but I was wrong ! It was clean spacious and well thought out . The way the animal pens have been designed gives great spaces for the... More
