Beautiful spot, went quite early Saturday morning, kingfisher has been seen many times, not Saturday morning though. We did see a pair of buzzards, commorant, heron, swans loads of little birds mainly the blackcap singing away. very easy accessible and a lovely walk.

Lovely circular walk along the river. Lots of birds to see and a visit to the boat inn for a quick drink after is a must

Quick view of a bittern flying into the reeds but plenty of Wigeon, gad well, kingfisher, buzzard, herons and the usual suspects. Two hides are well positioned to see the wildlife and the screen also allows for good views. Definitely worth a half day visit...More
