Great place to visit and it's all for free!! This gem is in the town market square and has a fantastic collection of local history and a great military section dedicated to the local regiments. Well worth a visit for all ages

Its a decent museum, with some interesting exhibits regarding the city of Lancaster and surrounding areas. Some great Roman artefacts. Worth a visit if in area.

Small museum but interesting exhibits nonetheless. We only spent about half an hour inside. My best bit was the Victorian section but that's my favourite era anyway. Nice building.
