Whether it's dog walking, watching bowls or cricket, exercising or just wandering around the park, it's a real pleasure. The gardens are well kept and the whole park is neat and tidy. There's a fenced off secure play area for the little ones and plenty of seating to just sit and watch the world go by. Enjoy!!

Full of useful information, novels, local attraction information and study material. The library has printing services in colour and black and white and many computers you can use to access the internet or personal documents.

The Dartford Borough Museum is located next door to the library. It is quite small but displays plenty of information on its exhibits and is worth a visit if you are in the area. The Roman displays were interesting and showed a skeleton unearthed while the area was being excavated, lying in a huge stone coffin. The Darenth Bowl was... More

This local museum was closed for renovations when I visited, during the weekend of the Dartford Festival. Fortunately, there was a local history display of photos documenting the origins and development of the Festival and a very helpful curator who was able to tell me about the exhibits and what to expect after the renovation. (I plan to bring a... More

Ok, so it's not the biggest museum around nor does it have the rarest of exhibits but it tells the history of the borough in a very charming way. Perfect for a spare half hour!

As a Dartford resident for all my life it occurred to me that I had never visited our museum. So today I paid a visit and was impressed with the exhibits they had in such a small museum. I studied geology and the ancient human occupation of Britain at university so I was particularly interested in the geology section showing... More

For such a local and little museum we love to visit. We always go when there is a new exhibition. The people will always answer any questions you may have and the kids love the little hands on bits. It does not overwhelm the kids so they take on all the history etc

The museum has a mix of permanent and temporary exhibits which cover the history of Dartford and also houses remains of Kerrs an old Dartford Store. If I tell you too much it will spoil you visit.

Visited this place many times as a child and was always amazed at all the different artefacts from Dartford's long history. Great Place, and the library next door is reportedly haunted.
