This park is nice and big and hosts a number of events throughout the year. It is also just nice for a walk around on a sunny afternoon as I usually do. There is a younger children's play area and an older seperate play area....More

A good park but has a bad reputation locally as an area where drug users and other undesirables gather.Probably due to the lack of access by car. It has no car park and can only be accessed on foot.

Hi I'm wondering if Whitman park holds the annual musical concert? We went there one year and it was fantastic.. But can't remember where exactly it was and also when it was. I'm sure it was around May time? Many thanks in advance.
