Surprised myself, as I approached this event with some trepidation, not sure why What a fantastic stage show great artists and amazing costumes with fab music. My god what a passionate audience! The only niggle....inadequate ladies toilets, was more than a little surprised by three...More

The Hazlitt is a lovely smaller theatre located in the centre of town, giving theatre goers a good choice of Maidstone's wide choice of restaurants and pubs. It is a fairly small but offers a personal feel, comfortable seats and reasonably priced refreshments.

This is quite an intimate theatre, so you are always in touch with the performing artists. We come quite often and most recently have seen a David Bowie tribute, Jason Donovan and an Adele tribute act. It's well worth supporting to keepnlocal theatre alive.

Visited for the Derek Acorah show. All seating has a good view of the stage. Quite a cosy theatre. Could do with more toilets as they only have four! Staff very helpful and friendly but like all theatres very overpriced. Would go back again though.

We took my Granddaughter to the Cinderella pantomime and she loved it. The location is good in that the theatre is small and quite personal. We've been to a few shows here and it's a good venue.

Wow! What a panto! Excellent atmosphere; great singing and dancing; thoroughly enjoyable for the whole family! Haven't laughed so much in ages. Definitely the best panto in Maidstone, well worth a visit!

sorry only just seen your question. I dont think it is staggered but the stage is high. Im short (5ft) and have never had trouble seeing whenever ive been.
