Took the kids over the weekend, had a great time walking round the lake spotting different birds and trying to hunt down frogs - we failed on the second count! could do with some more play equipment (or point people in the right direction if its hidden!) We will go back in the summer as this place will be great... More

Absolutely love this place. Its wide open expanse and flat tarmac road area all the way around makes it an enjoyable walk, cycle or skating area. The lake is beautiful and the wildlife are plentiful too and there are small playgrounds for children too. You can fish or picnic around the lake and many people meet up and form large... More

A very dirty park, rubbish bins full to overflowing, parkland covered in rubbish, flies everywhere! Not what I expect from a country park at all. Cars can park anywhere so subsequently nowhere is truly safe for dogs or children. No bins to put dog waisted in. On the whole for a £4 entrance fee a pretty disastrous afternoon out, I... More

We often walk around the lake and it makes for a pleasant way to exercise. The path is hard standing all the way round so in winter will not be muddy. We consider the parking charges to be far too high and will always park outside the Country Park which extends our walk to around 40 minutes.

The country park had all bins and skips overflowing with rubbish as a result flies were every where. Cars are encouraged all over the park, spoiling the grass, haphazard and results in not being able to let a dog off the lead to explore, not sure what the dog would be exploring though, as it is flat and totally non... Spent the day with children and friends at Emberton. Kids lived the pirate park & giant sandpit. The parkland is well maintained and you can park your car on the grass & picnic /BBQ which is great. Downside was one of the toilet blocks is being renovated (why not do this out of season / winter)? And the rubbish -... More

Came here with family & their children. We walked around the park with our dogs & the children really enjoyed the variety of parks that were dotted around. Paid £4 to drive in. Once we got back to the car we had a picnic & just relaxed in the lovely weather. Fab day out, will be returning! 9/10 from us!!

Visited here with friends and our 4 children.....all who had a wonderfully, muddy time! The outdoor gymnasium equipment by the cafe was a real winner with the kids (and us adults) and despite the cold, we spent 3 hours walking and playing before making our way to the cafe - very nice staff, very busy and reasonably priced! Can't wait... More

Winter rates £2.60 per car. I think it should be £1 per visit this time of year to help get more people in. The cafe is run separately and very reasonable too. Good play areas. Toilet clean.
