Awful place, intimidating area, roaming free frighteningly scary dogs with irresponsible owners. Litter

Visited Bolton for a weekend and went for an early morning run through Queens park. on a Saturday morning. I was one of 3 people in the whole park. The place was immaculately clean (which cannot be said for many other public places in Bolton.) The swans are beautiful and the children's area looks wonderful. I read some reviews about... More

A great open space with a good children's park, a little hilly from the car park end but well worth the climb if you are reasonably fit. If not you can still stroll at the bottom end of the park and get a welcome cuppa at the cafe which has toilets and a covered area to sit with your dog.

There are river walks which are especially attractive in the springtime when the celandines, wild garlic and bluebells are in bloom. But as for the rest of the park it's a bit hilly but lovely if you don't mind a bit of a... More

Love Queens Park the playground facilities are great for children up to 16. They have a zip wire and an area which has sand and climbing equipment. So great for children in the warmer months however still great for those chilly days. There is a cafe with toilet facilities for all including babies and disabled. There is a seating area... More
