too many geese!

A good spot for a morning/afternoon trip with children. The area around the lodges is popular with geese whose numbers seem to be getting out of control.

We visited Moses Gate as a last minute decision whilst visiting my sister during the August Bank Holiday. Both my daughter aged 8 and my 5-year old great niece absolutely loved it. We fed the ducks and swans that were literally lining the banks of the river and came right up to you then continued to the play area where... More

Such a great day out, perfect for young children. A big lake where you can feed the ducks or cycle round. Loads of wildlife, and a big park where children can spend hours.

We have been here several times now and its great to show our little one the swans, geese and various ducks, but make sure you bring some food for them!!! We always enjoy the walk and keep saying we will come prepared with a picnic one day to explore the walkways, which there seems to be lots! The park is... More

You can go here for one hour to all day, been here several times with children, dogs, teenagers all enjoyed the time, walking around the lake going into the woodlands, even the park and a picnic. You can walk to the Mecano Bridge.
