The cruise itself is very good but you need good weather as there is insufficient space inside if wet. We had a lovely sunny day and were able to stand outside the whole journey. I said stand as there were insufficient seats outside for everyone...More

Have just got back from a group trip on the Royal Iris from Salford to Liverpool. The scenery was very interesting, not just the natural world but also the industrial heritage and modern industry and the construction of the canal itself and the various bridges....More

A fascinating cruise on a magnificent piece of engineering. At over 5 hours this is a full day but it is very well organised and there is good catering on the boat. You are very well looked after.

This is one of the worlds most amazing constructions - a big canal. Take a trip down it on a Mersey Ferry - Liverpool, Seacombe & Birkenhead - Salford Docks. All the way there is industry, engineering wonders and superb countryside. This is a must...More

There is café, which serves light lunches, snacks and hot drinks. Not sure about alcoholic drinks. But I am sure, one would not die of hunger or thirst on board!
