I visited with my partner and two 12 year old boys. The staff were excellent and we had great fun racing each other down the slope on tubes. I have to say we were much quicker coming down than going up.

Going to the ski centre between Christmas and New Year has become a tradition for the family, with the centre having tubing or toboggan runs for the kids. They've now started having tubing on the main slope which the kids were all excited to try. Sadly you have to be over 8 to do this, so when I spoke to... More

Brought my daughter and her friend here on a PD day, they were the only skiers. We were made extremely welcome by the friendly staff, (even made me a coffee). So glad we chose to do this. Will definitely be coming back.

We had my daughters 6th birthday party here on the small slope. It was good value for money which also included the lodge. The staff where all nice especially the man who I presume was the manager, very helpful. I feel that the local council need to promote this ski slop better though, and make better use of the lodge... Today we took the kids (aged10,15,17) here. They were the only people on the slope! Brilliant, despite the rain. Friendly staff, all kit provided (including helmets if you want them) just need to bring gloves. Great time had by all, will definitely be going back.

If you are a beginner this is a great place to start, book in for lessons in the summer as it is really quiet, the closer to the season the busier it becomes

Been twice this holiday. Started as beginners. Just five in group. By the end of two hours with great tuition we could ski from top. Second time we went as intermediates. Again wonderful friendly and skilled teachers. We had group of four and two instructors. Really really recommend this place because of the great tuition.
