We were staying at the travelodge nearby and asked the receptionist if there was anywhere to walk nearby. She directed us to Aspley Woods. It was easy to get to and we wandered through and enjoyed it. Great public space.

Apley woods is a fabulous place to explore on a sunny afternoon. Especially good for cyclists with the old railway line now transformed into a track, there's miles of enclosed space to enjoy. For the walkers, no need to stick to the track, venture off...More

Plenty of parking, easily accessible. A lovely place for a walk all year around, the ground is pretty flat so easy for most to access.
